The Workshop will be organized as a side meeting to the 14th EMS Annual Meeting & 10th European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC), 06 – 10 October 2014, Prague, Czech Republic on Friday, 10 October, from 08:30–13:00 in Room Aquarius (http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EMS2014/session/16964)
The workshop originates from the FP7 CORECLIMAX project and aims at building capacities on the use of climate information. It will deal with future climate services and the usability of the terrestrial, oceanic as well as atmospheric climate data. The specific objectives are to provide guidance and expertise on the use of climate information and its associated uncertainty, and to provide generic tools to build the bridge between the climate data and the users' need.
The workshop will deal with the following questions: What data is there? How well does that data fit your needs? How can that data be used for Climate Services? Lectures and specific hands-on case studies will be given by leading experts (laptops will be available).
Interested participants please apply to the workshop (40 seats available) here (application closed).
